Facts About Annaleigh



Since you have clicked your way to this part of the site, I assume it means you're interested in knowing a bit more about me. :) I'm a 24 year old survivor of multiple forms of abuse. I am in college, at a college in the Central Valley of California. I major in sociology/anthropology there, and plan on becoming a university professor. I may however have a stint in social work. About Me





  • My name really is Annaleigh, though it is originally spelled "Analee", which I *hate* with a passion. I will be changing the spelling legally ASAP.
  • I am a charismatic Christian (meaning we pray in tongues and stuff). I accepted Christ in September 2002.
  • I love many kinds of music, but am a headbanger girlie, seeing as my favorite genre is metal. My favorite band is Megadeth. I consider Dave Mustaine one of my heroes, and if forced to choose, I'd want to be stranded on an island with either the album Rust in Peace or, the album The System Has Failed.
  • And speaking of music, heavy metal never bothered my mother much...it was my opera albums she hated! *sneaky grin*
  • I also consider Tori Amos to be one of my heroes.
  • One of my hobbies is genealogy. I haven't been able to participate in it much lately, but, I have traced my father's family back to the 1580's England, and my mother back to 1600's Spain. Some of my more famous relatives include Wyatt Earp and the country singer Merle Haggard.
  • I am mixed; I am of Mexican, Native American, and Caucasian descent, with a little Middle Eastern tossed into the mix.
  • I love politics to a certain degree. I vote in as many elections as possible.
  • My room is constantly a mess. So is my desk. I'm trying to clean it. Sorta. Kinda. Not really.
  • I collect stuffed animals, and they are some comfort during the nightmares. I also collect all sorts of different kinds of buttons. And dictionaries. Why? Cuz I'm a geek.
  • I've been building websites for nearly 8 years. My first website was just a totally slapdash very amateur effort at putting up lyrics, pictures, and info on Megadeth, Metallica, Tori Amos, and Fiona Apple. Keep in mind I was 15. ;)
  • I'm of small stature. Almost everyone is taller than me.
  • I eat everything with either jalepenos or salsa. Maybe even a PB&J sandwich if I could get away with it. ;)
  • My favorite poets are Sylvia Plath and Maya Angelou.
