suggestions to annaleigh@aswaterspassingby.org To return to

NEW (2/27/2008):
I apologize for the severe lack of updates, and lack of response to many people's emails. I have had some personal
struggles, and have had so much college coursework, unfortunately! I am hoping to do some updating and responding within
the next few days. :)
In the meantime, I have some awesome news to share with you. I am volunteering as one of the Section Moderators of the
Spirituality & Healing Forum at Pandora's Aquarium. If you have not checked out yet
what Pandys has to offer you, please do go have a look! Pandys has been gradually expanding from a message board to a
nonprofit which includes a message board as one of its most important features. There is tons of support, information, and
resources to be found there, some of which you can even access without having to register for the message board.

It has been such an unbelievably long time since I've really updated this site and posted anything in the what's new

planning to make updates more frequent.

Good morning! Today is another Sunday, and so now I have time to work on the site. I actually did a little something to it
yesterday, but Saturday is my crunch date as far as my schoolwork is concerned. Anyway, also, I checked the site in IE, and
the very small font I am seeing in Opera is purely either an Opera thing, or my settings in Opera thing. But if you too are
having trouble seeing the fonts, please tell me, ok?

Ok, I have the time to share some news this morning, and I will be listing updates as I do them (today is my day off from
schoolwork, so I am working on the site and other things). I am officially getting started setting up a
Silver Braid chapter in my small town. I will also start working on a website
for the chapter hopefully next week. I wanted to do more for my local community of survivors, and so now via this website,
and the Silver Braid chapter, I will be able to do whatever I can for survivors around the world, and in my own backyard.
I find that really exciting! :)

2/17/2007:
Well good grief, something is up with the fonts and my browser when it comes to this site. I have checked the HTML and done
a little editing, still the fonts are really tiny. :\ Are these fonts tiny for you? Please
email if they are. Be sure to tell me what browser you are using. If I
have to, I will research and post a little something about adjusting your browser so you can see the fonts.
I am still very busy with college, but I have had it with me not updating this site, and have decided to go back to my old
efforts to at least one update a day to this site, no matter how small it is. If you are waiting to hear from me about
something, whether it's content you want added or updated, I hope to get to it in the next few days. I have a couple things
that accumulated while I have been working. I will get em, I promise! I also have a lot to tell you, but I suppose it
may have to wait until tomorrow!
Updates:

1/22/2007:
Wow, good grief! I cannot believe that it has been over two months since my last update to the site! :( And to be honest, I
am not quite so sure when I will be able to do a real update... College has started up again for the Spring, and I have a
lot of work on my hands... But please, feel free to contact me with any concerns or additions you have, and I will do my
best. I love you all!
The very busy Annaleigh

Good morning everybody, I have decided that I am going to add to this updates section as I actually update things, not later!

* continued work on Panic Attacks @ Aftermath page.
10/21/2006:
Yes, I have done it again. I have managed to make tons of updates without listing any of them here. *sigh* I apologize.
Let's see, what have I done since late August.... Well, I have added tons of links, we have a section that lists petitions,
action alerts, and writing campaigns. Another way for you to get involved! And you will see, just before the grid menu, I
have links to the volunteering and activism sections for easy reference. I want people to get involved that badly. Also, I
have added a section on missing persons. If you are searching for a loved one, please email me and I will add them to the
section. The site is searchable now and has a handy site map.
A couple of things coming in the next 2-3 weeks:
* a section with my survivor art
* a message board!
8/27/2006:
Hi there! Ok, I admit it, I have made many many updates in the last couple weeks, but have been negligent in listing them
here so I guess you will have to discover them for yourself...sorry about that! :) Two things I will tell you about tho, are
I have added a WordPress blog. I have been using the blog at this site's MySpace account, but other Survivor Bloggers I
admire very much want to comment on my writings and refuse to get a MySpace account. So I have decided to make good use of
the WordPress software that comes with my hosting package! All blog postings will be placed at both the WordPress & MySpace
blogs, but I will use the WordPress blog entries for all blog carnivals from now on. Second change: I have done away with
the news article archive. I was doing all of the work manually & it was just too much work. Haullie has recently added a
very handy Child Abuse/Rape/Domestic Violence related news feed here. Also,
I am starting back at college in a few hours, but it is still OK to email me with questions/comments/concerns/content you
would like to see, and I will update the site whenever possible!
July 2006:
0 I have added links to a few new sites, and added a link section to info for adult children of alcoholics.
7/3/2006:
I have been a bit out of commission lately what with the major heatwave we had (it was too hot to be in here working on the
site) but I am back to working on the site. I just would like to say that I think it is awesome that many of you are sending
add requests to the activism myspace and I am glad to be interacting with you all through the blog & comments. The Care Bears
layout I have right now makes my inner child happy! ;)
0 Finally finished reworking current links section (I say current because I have some new sections in the works)
0 Re-did the main page a little bit.
who knows when:
Hi everybody! I have been busy with my Algebra II class, but I have found time to do a little bit with the site.
0 I have registered www.aswaterspassingby.com and set it to forward to
www.aswaterspassingby.org so that anyone who mistakingly types the former URL, they will be
transfered to the actual page.
0 I am validating links again. It's so annoying combing through all the links making sure
the url's have not been occupied by porn sites, but it must be done.
6/9/2006:
I am finally getting my computer back today! I did a couple small updates. I hope to do more in the next few days as I can
think of a few things that need to be done.
0 Added main page link to Voices of Strength (image map w/ links to audio trailer and site)
0 Updated all links to Over the Rainbow. Congrats Steph on your site's new home and look. It's lovely!
0 Added link to activism MySpace.
6/4/2006:
Still very busy, and still struggling, but I did some tiny updates around here!
0 Added Stasi Eldredge to Notable Survivors.
0 Added comment to mailbag.
0 Added pic and a little blurb to Voices of Strength progress page.
5/28/2006:
I have not been able to update due to a variety of reasons, one of them being that I am still waiting for my computer to be
fixed, but hopefully I should regroup soon and figure out some updates I can do around here.
0 Added return link to The Crew's House...thank you Diana for linking to AWPB!
5/13/2006:
I have but one assignment left to care for in class, so I am here working on the site a bit. My computer has broken down
for the bazillionth time unfortunately so updates will be somewhat limited.
0 Added info on a book called The Visage, by Sereena Nightshade.
0 Updated the bulletin on Jayne Sachs' CSA awareness song which won the poll she was competing in!
4/23/2006:
I apologize for the lack of updates, but I'm dealing with depression issues, and the fact that the semester ends May 1st.
There's a lot of school work to do so the site has taken a bit of a back seat. I will get back into it in full force after
the 1st.
P.S. -- I saw the special Lifetime TV airing of Searching for Angela Shelton. The excerpt is the first I have seen
of the documentary. Very powerful. I plan to buy it on DVD!
0 Added some scriptural (Christian) info on controlling anger issues.
0 Added about umm...4? Articles to the article archive.
0 Added many notable survivors.
0 Added a link to Beyond the Tears, Bearing Through It, The Victims Advocate, It Happened to Alexa Foundation
0 Created two new link sections, Survivor Creativity and Victims Rights & Advocacy
4/16/2006:
We have reached 3000 hits (on this counter..there have been much more in the history of
this site)! I'm really happy. :) As you can see, we have a new What's New page, in honor of
the fact we've reached 3000 hits, and partly because the old page was getting a bit large.
I will be doing a little bit around the site (not much as it's Easter, and I need to relax).
